Justin Osteen’s date of birth is unknown. He is the son of John Hillery Osteen (August 21, 1921 – January 23, 1999) and his first wife, Emma Jean Shaffer. His parents got divorced and his father John married Dolores “Dodie” Pilgrim on September 17, 1954. His father John and stepmother Dodie started Lakewood Church in “a dusty, abandoned feed store” in northeast Houston.

Justin Osteen is the only child of his parents but from his father’s marriage to Dodie Osteen, he has five half-siblings.
