Tamara Osteen was born on September 19, 1961, in Harris County, Texas, USA, per Ancientfaces. She will be celebrating her 62nd birthday in 2023, on 19th September. She is the daughter of John Hillery Osteen (August 21, 1921 – January 23, 1999) and Dolores (“Dodie”) Pilgrim. Her father was an American pastor and founding pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas.
Tamara Osteen’s parents John Osteen and Dolores began the Lakewood Baptist Church in “a dusty, abandoned feed store” in northeast Houston as a church for charismatic Baptists. The church later dropped “Baptist” from its name and became nondenominational. John Osteen launched the Lakewood Bible Institute (LBI), an “unaccredited school devoted to biblical training from a charismatic perspective.”
Tamara Osteen is not the only child of her parents. She is one of six children of her parents. Her siblings are Paul Osteen, Lisa Osteen, April Osteen Simons, Justin Osteen, and Joel Osteen. Tamara lost her father. Tamara’s father John Osteen died on January 23, 1999, in Houston, Texas, U.S. He was 77 years old when he died. He died after a heart attack.
