Christopher Joseph Lewis is known as the son of the late Jerry Lewis. Christopher was born in October 1957. He is at the age of 65 years as of 2022. He was born to Jerry Lewis and Patti Palmer. Christopher is the brother of Gary, Anthony, Scott Anthony, Ronald, Joseph Christopher, and Danielle.

Christopher Joseph Lewis’ sister Danielle was born from his father Jerry Lewis’ marriage to SanDee Pitnick, a University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) professionally trained ballerina and stewardess. Christopher’s parents Jerry Lewis and Patti Palmer got divorced after about almost 36 years of marriage.

Patti Palmer and Jerry Lewis were married from 1944 until 1980. Their divorce was finalized in 1983. Christopher’s mother Patti was the one who filed for divorce. Patti’s reason for the divorce was that Jerry Lewis was unfaithful. Jerry had extramarital affairs, which he openly pursued.

Patti Palmer called for $450,000 a year to support herself and Christopher’s younger brother, Joseph Christopher, who was at the age of 16 years at the time. However, it is unknown if Jerry Lewis paid that amount of money to Patti.

Lost His Younger Brother Who Was Penniless And Homeless

Christopher Joseph Lewis’ brother Joseph Christopher Lewis, who was the youngest among the children of Jerry Lewis and Patti Palmer died on October 24, 2009, after suffering a sudden heart seizure. Joseph was disowned by his father Jerry Lewis after he granted an interview with National Enquirer and accused his father Jerry Lewis of viciously beating his children.

Joseph Christopher Lewis ended up as a drug and alcohol addict and he had endless therapy sessions. He was unable to keep a job and he became penniless and homeless. He was diagnosed with manic depression. He eventually died in Utah, USA and his body was cremated.

Lost His Parents

Christopher Joseph Lewis has lost both his parents as of 2022. His father Jerry Lewis died on August 20, 2017, at age 91, at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died of end-stage cardiac disease and peripheral artery disease. Christopher’s mother Patti Palmer died on January 15, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Patti Palmer was 99 years old when she took her last breath. Her son, Gary Lewis confirmed the news. He said; “All my life she was a beautiful spirit to me”. He added; “She was always singing songs around the house and playing the piano and I know that is where I got my love of music from.”

He Did Not Inherit Anything From His Father

Christopher Joseph Lewis and his siblings who were born to Jerry Lewis and Patti Palmer did not get anything from their father. After Christopher’s father, Jerry Lewis passed away, he gave out his estate to his second wife of 34 years, SanDee Pitnick, and their adopted daughter, Danielle Sarah Lewis.

Jerry Lewis’ will said; “I have intentionally excluded Gary Lewis, Ronald Lewis, Anthony Joseph Lewis, Christopher Joseph Lewis, Scott Anthony Lewis, and Joseph Christopher Lewis and their descendants as beneficiaries of my estate, it being my intention that they shall receive no benefits hereunder”.
