Jerry Lewis is regarded as one of the most significant American cultural figures of all time. He was born Joseph Levitch on March 16, 1926, in Newark, New Jersey. He was nicknamed “The King of Comedy”. He was from a Jewish family.
Jerry Lewis’ father is Daniel “Danny” Levitch and he was a master of ceremonies and vaudevillian who performed under the stage name Danny Lewis. Jerry Lewis’ mother is Rachael “Rae” Levitch and she was a WOR radio pianist and Danny’s music director, from Warsaw.
Jerry Lewis dropped out of Irvington High School in the tenth grade. Jerry Lewis has made contributions to comedy and charity. He is remembered as a global figure in pop culture over an eight-decade career. He was a member of the popular Martin and Lewis duo with singer Dean Martin. The duo performed together until 1956. They starred in their series of 14 new films.
Jerry Lewis has also worked as a solo act. He had developed his “Record Act” miming lyrics to songs while a phonograph played offstage. Jerry Lewis was a national chairman of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). He hosted The Jerry Lewis Telethon each Labor Day weekend and starred in over 60 motion pictures, and directed 13 films.

Joseph Lewis
Joseph Christopher Lewis is the son of Jerry Lewis. He is the youngest son of Jerry Lewis and Patti Palmer. He was born on 7 January 1964. Joseph granted an interview with National Enquirer and he blamed his dad for beating his children. He said that growing up with his father was “pure hell”. After the interview, Joseph was disowned by his father Jerry Lewis. Jerry Lewis cut all ties with Joseph.
Joseph Christopher got into drugs, alcoholism, and endless therapy sessions which became his downfall. He became penniless and homeless. He was married to Kim and had children; Bobby Lewis & Dan Lewis. Joseph Christopher died on October 24, 2009, after suffering a sudden heart seizure. The autopsy report revealed that he died from acute morphine intoxication.

Danielle Sarah Lewis
Danielle Sarah Lewis was born in March 1992. She was born in the United States and holds an American nationality. She is the daughter of Jerry Lewis and SanDee Pitnick. She is the adopted child of Jerry Lewis and SanDee Pitnick. There isn’t much about their biological parents of Danielle available. She is only famous as the daughter of Jerry Lewis. Danielle was her father’s manager before he died.
Jerry Lewis died on August 20, 2017, at age 91, in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. He “intentionally” left his six children out of his will, and his adopted daughter Danielle was the only eligible child in his will.
