Zachary Lazenby was the son of George Robert Lazenby and his ex-wife Christina Gannett, also known as Chrissie Townson. Zachary was brought into the world on 9 November 1974, in Woden Valley Hospital, Canberra, ACT, Australia. His father is an actor and former model.
Zachary Lazenby’s mother is a member of the Gannett family. His parents’ marriage failed and they got divorced in 1995. At the age of eleven years, Zachary was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. His mother Christina Gannett claimed she suffered physical abuse at the hands of her ex-husband George Lazenby.
Christina has made several accusations against George. She said George punched her in the face when she was five months pregnant and broke her nose when their son Zachary was dying from cancer. In a statement released by George’s spokesman Michael Sands, he said:
“I wish Christina would show me a medical report, x-rays, and pictures that show I broke her nose. I never punched her in my life.” Christina Gannett also claimed that George Lazenby threatened to kill her when she told him she wanted a divorce and she was afraid he meant it.
George said the declarations are “contrived, unfounded and without merit.” Zachary Lazenby has a sister called Melanie Andrea Lazenby. Melanie was born on September 13, 1973. She is a successful real estate broker in New York. She has worked as a real estate professional for more than 20 years.

How Did George Lazenby’s Son Die?
George Lazenby’s son Zachary Lazenby sadly died of brain cancer. He passed away in the year 1994. He died at the age of 19 years. He reportedly died in Pacific Palisades, LA. His death left his family heartbroken. According to his father George Lazenby, Zachary “passed away at 19 with metastasized brain tumors. I still tear up whenever I think of it.”
