How did Brad Wall and his wife meet?
According to reports, Brad Wall and his wife Tami Kildaw met in 1984 when they were both students at the University of Saskatchewan. “We met on campus…I was a second-year arts and science student, she was a first-year engineering student. The pursuit began.” He told Edward Willett, “It struck me that when arts and science students date engineers, there may not be many dates, because engineers are busy!” They exchanged their vows in 1991 in a beautiful ceremony in the presence of their friends, family, and loved ones, seven years after they met.
Together Tami Kildaw and her husband have three children – two daughters, Megan and Faith, and a son, Colter. Colter Wall is a country singer. The former Canadian politician admits family life can be a challenge when you’re a provincial premier. “When I first ran I talked to two former MLAs,” he Edward Willett, both of whom had families. “I asked, ‘Can I be a good dad and a good husband and do this?’” Their answer was Yes.
Tami Kildaw’s husband, Wall is an avid football fan, supporting both the local Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League and the National Football League’s Oakland Raiders. He told Edward Willet- “Some of the family activities take members in different directions, The girls aren’t huge football fans, but Tami and I are. We enjoy watching football on TV as well.”
The former Canadian politician continued to say that- “Some of the best times we have are around the table, My wife and I enjoy cooking together, especially in the summer.” Wall is also a classic car enthusiast and owns a Cadillac that was once owned by Waylon Jennings.

On May 1, 2018, Wall announced he would begin working as an advisor for the Calgary law firm Osler, Hoskin, and Harcourt LLP.
Tami Kildaw’s son Colter Wall was familiar with country music growing up, as country artists such as Johnny Cash were played at home. He started learning guitar at the age of 13, playing music of rock bands such as AC/DC and Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin.

Later he became interested in old blues artists and then started to listen to folk music. According to Tami Kildaw’s only son Colter, he first heard Bob Dylan’s song “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” around grade 10 or 11 (aged 15 or 16), and he was inspired to start writing and singing songs instead of only playing guitar.
Other early musical influences he cited include Woody Guthrie and Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, and he had also expressed interest in country singers such as Gram Parsons, Townes Van Zandt, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Hank Williams. In June 2020, Colter announced his third album, Western Swing & Waltzes and Other Punchy Songs for release on August 28 with independent label, La Honda Records
