The same year, he also made an appearance in the comedy series Community. After a string of box office failures, Chase’s career declined, eventually having a resurgence with his role as Pierce Hawthorne on the NBC sitcom Community (2009–2014).

Chevy Chase and Suzanne Chase’s marriage

The couple have not talked much about how they met and started their relationship. Chevy Chase and Suzanne Chase tied the knot on February 23, 1973. The couple walked down the aisle in a beautiful wedding ceremony in the presence of their friends, families, and loved ones in New York City.

Though they promised each other forever, things got sour along the way and they called their marriage a quit. They divorced on February 1, 1976, and went their separate ways. The reason behind their divorce was not made known to the public. There is also no record of the couple having any children. They were married for three years.
