In July 2017, Chris was granted a temporary restraining order against Shar Jackson after he made serious accusations against Shar.
According to Chris Massey, he left Mariah in the care of Shar Jackson for several weeks, and during that time, Shar Jackson had struck Mariah and left a four-inch long gash in her forehead from a razor.
