The deep, mature connection of two characters truly makes it the most romantic Disney movie. Lady and the Tramp tells the story of a rich dog named Lady who falls in love with a stray dog named Tramp. Lady gets kicked out of the house after her family had a human kid. Tramp demonstrates what “a dog’s life can truly be.” The love story has one of Disney’s most memorable romantic scenes: Lady and Tramp eating pasta by candlelight at Tony’s. While most people recall Tramp and Lady’s unexpected kiss while eating spaghetti, I believe the most romantic scene is when Tramp shares a meatball with Lady. When it comes to Disney, everything will always begin these two. They are basically the first Disney couples. Depending on how the tale is been told, Mickey & Minnie Mouse may be shown as a husband and wife or in a courtship, however the two characters are always wedded behind the scenes. Walt clarified to Film Pictorial magazine in 1933 (via The Cinemaholic): “In private life, Mickey is married to Minnie.” They have been a couple for over 90 years and are still going strong. Despite the constant attempts of Big Bad Pete, nothing has gotten in the way of their relationship.

The Aristocats Disney movie was released in 1970 and tells the classic tale of a cat named Duchess, her kittens, and a free-spirited stray cat named Thomas O’Malley. The Little Mermaid as many believes has the cutest Disney couples. In this story the princess is the one who does the saving. 17. Bob and Helen Parr from Pixar’s The Incredibles

Bob and Helen are Disney modern couples. Pixar just has a knack for inventing wonderful relationships. Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Bob and Helen Parr, are among the greatest. Bob and Helen make an excellent team, whether they are fighting supervillains or attempting to manage the day-to-day chaos of parenthood. We watch the duo lift each other up, make sacrifices for the sake of their love and family, and complement each other’s abilities throughout The Incredibles 1 and 2.

To be honest, we were tempted to include Lucius (Frozone) and Honey Best on our list, but they’re too preoccupied with bickering over the location of his Super Suit.

18. Anna and Kristoff from Frozen:

Sometimes the best partnerships must overcome the hardest challenges. Frozen’s Anna and Kristoff are maybe the clearest example of this. Their love tale begins with Anna becoming engaged to a man she just met, and Kristoff’s bond with his reindeer is “a touch outside of nature’s laws,” according to his family. Fortunately, Kristoff’s family is also a love specialist. He’s a bit of a fixer-upper, but who isn’t? Everyone, according to the trolls, is a bit of a fixer upper. That’s exactly what it’s all about! Father! Sister! Brother! We rely on one another to lift us up and round us out.

19. Tarzan & Jane – Tarzan 1999:

Jane, an American from Baltimore, Maryland, is the daughter of professor Archimedes Q. Porter. Two separate worlds collided when Tarzan, a man raised by apes, meets Jane. Carl and Ellie from Pixar’s Up are total couple goals. Up’s first ten minutes tell one of the most emotional love tales in cinema history, and that is not hyperbole. From their childhood bonding over adventure and the creation of the “Ellie Badge” to the joys and heartbreaks of their married life, the couple is clearly more than just a loving couple, but also close friends. When these Disney couples were married, they had adventures together, worked at the zoo and enjoyed their company, they even painted their house at Paradise Falls. Their relationship serves as the foundation for all of the action in the film, propelling Carl on his adventure to South America and even guiding his developing friendship with Russel. After they got separated by death, Carl still kept her promise to get to the falls. In fact, he went to Paradise Falls in his floating house.

Another classic tale of Disney couples where Kida, as Queen of Atlantis, is working with Milo, who is now her husband, to use the Heart of Atlantis to rebuild the civilization. Although in the movie we never actually see this couple get together, it is heavily implied.

22. Jack Skellington & Sally

Another classic Disney Couples is Jack Skellington & Sally.  Jack and Sally from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas are a great example of how beside every great skeleton is a great woman who was pieced together by a mad scientist. Sally is in love with Jack Skellington but is unable to express her feelings to him. By the end of the film, she has managed to tell him how much she loves him, and he has revealed that he loves her in return. On top of Spiral Hill, they share a passionate kiss.
