5. The Sword in the Stone:
The story of King Arthur’s humble beginnings is told in this Disney adaptation of the classic fable. As an orphaned child, Arthur, then known as Wart, wishes to assist his foster brother, Kay, in becoming a knight. While assisting Kay with her training, Wart comes across Merlin’s cabin, which belongs to the bumbling but talented wizard Merlin. Merlin tries everything he can to persuade the boy that he is destined for greatness, and when Wart and Kay travel to London to compete in a jousting tournament, they discover that Merlin was correct.

The Disney witches, Madam Mim is a wicked and villainous witch who uses her magical abilities to make others’ lives miserable. She demonstrates considerable power by being able to transform herself into a variety of forms, including a dragon.
She is a cruel and depraved woman who despises anything wholesome, such as sunlight. As a foil for Merlin, she demonstrates that she is a worthy opponent who is simply outwitted by the famous wizard.

The Wizards movie takes place in a universe where humans don’t exist; therefore, the world is instead populated by mythical creatures. The knowledge that when their training is complete, they will have to compete to determine who will become the Family Wizard—the one who gets to keep their magical powers forever—while the other two will lose their powers and become mortals—looms in the background.
9. The Princess and the Frog:
Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a hardworking and ambitious young woman, aspires to one day open the best restaurant in New Orleans. When she meets Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos), who has been turned into an amphibian by the evil Wizard, Dr. Facilier, her dream takes a slight detour.
