Sam Is A Firefighter

Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa’s son, Sam Ryan Springsteen chose a career in the firefighting fraternity. He is a firefighter in Jersey City. His parents are both entertainers but he didn’t follow in his parents’ footsteps. He graduated from the Monmouth County Fire Academy in 2014 and took a civil service exam to become a member of the department in 2017.

Sam Ryan Springsteen was one of 15 individuals sworn in by the mayor of Jersey City, New Jersey, in January 2020 at City Hall. His proud parents Bruce and Patti both attended the ceremony as their youngest child, Sam was officially sworn in as a firefighter in Jersey City N.J. They were sitting in the front row seat. His parents are very proud of Sam’s choice to serve humanity as a firefighter.

Sam Ryan Springsteen volunteered at the Colts Neck Fire Department, the Long Branch Fire Department, and the North Wildwood Fire Department. Per PEOPLE, he and another firefighter were able to save a fisherman who was stuck in the mud while at the NWFD, the Cape May County Herald reported in 2016.
