Wendy Cobain was the wife of Donald Leland Cobain, an automotive mechanic. They were in a relationship for some time before getting married on July 31, 1965, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They had Kurt Donald Cobain on February 20, 1967.

Eventually, Wendy Cobain granted Donald full custody of Kurt Cobain, on June 28, 1979, but when Kurt was in his second year in high school, he was living with his mother in Aberdeen. He dropped out of Aberdeen High School just when he was about to graduate and his mother gave him a choice to either find a job or leave.

Kurt Cobain was sucked out of the house by his mother. He lived with friends and at times, he sneaks into his mother’s basement. He claimed that, during periods of homelessness, he lived under a bridge over the Wishkah River.

According to the authorities, he had died on April 5 from a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head. He was 27 years old when he died.

Kurt Cobain struggled with heroin addiction and chronic health problems such as depression, during his last years. He also struggled with the personal and professional pressures of fame. He is no longer alive but he continues to live on through his music.
