The city of Cape Coast has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Africa Diaspora Development Institute (ADDI). This agreement was signed together with two companies to make way for the construction of an Ultra-Modern Smart City named The Wakanda City Of Return.
Leveraging the rich and beautiful culture of Ghana. The partners are looking forward to building a place of pilgrimage for Africans and people of African descendants. This place is to serve as a platform for people to know about the history, culture, and the roles Africans placed in civilization. It will also serve the role of creating a new world economy.

The partners involved will be hosting a virtual press conference to announce the creation of the project on Thursday 12, 2020.
This is a private sector initiative to help in the development of the coastline and areas in Cape Coast. The two companies taking part in this initiative are Pelicape Limited and Adepa Africa Investments.
The project is looking forward to creating over 3000 jobs for the youths in Cape Coast. The time for this project is just right as the government is looking forward to building an Airport in Cape Coast. And also the country is still enjoying the benefits of “the Year of Return” and “Beyond the Return”
