I believe I had a lot to do with where he is now.” To help herself move on, Sandra joined a support group for women divorced from Hollywood stars that were initially called Life After Divorce Is Eventually Sane (LADIES). The group was later renamed the Hollywood Dumpettes.

Sandra Zober passed away on 2 April 2011 at the age of 83 in Westwood, Los Angeles County, California, USA. According to her Obituary, Sandi, died at her home in Westwood of cardiac complications.
In February 2014, Sandra Zober’s ex-husband, Nimoy revealed publicly that he had been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a condition he attributed to a smoking addiction he had given up about 30 years earlier. On February 25, 2015, Nimoy fell into a coma, and died of complications from COPD on February 27, at the age of 83, in his Bel Air home.
