Professional Career of Ronnie Spector
Ronnie Spector is a professional singer. She was a member of the Darling Sisters, later called the Ronettes, in the late 1950s. Ronnie was a co-founder and fronted the group, the Ronettes. The group consisted of Ronnie’s sister, Estelle Bennett, and their cousin, Nedra Talley. They were signed to Phil Spector’s Philles label.
Ronnie Spector dropped her debut solo album Siren and after that, she continued to release the albums Unfinished Business (1987), Something’s Gonna Happen (2003), Last of the Rock Stars (2006), and English Heart (2016). She was featured in Eddie Money’s song “Take Me Home Tonight” in 1986.
Ronnie Spector also recorded one extended play, She Talks to Rainbows (1999). She is sometimes called the original “bad girl of rock and roll”. She published a memoir, Be My Baby: How I Survived Mascara, Miniskirts, and Madness, Or, My Life as a Fabulous Ronette. She has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Ronettes in 2007.

Donte said in an interview with the Mail on Sunday in 2003, that the relationship with his dad was a “thin line between love and hate.” Donte said Phil locked him and his brothers in their rooms “with locks on the door”, and that he left home at just 10 years old after suffering the abuse.
