Lev Rapace was born on August 21, 2003, in Sweden. He is the son of actress  Noomi Rapace and her husband Ola Rapace. As of 2023, Lev is 23 years old. He is not the only child of her parents- He has an elder half-sister whose name is  Line Rapace. Lev looks every bit like his mom and dad combined. Lev Rapace’s father Ola is a Swedish actor who gained popularity for playing Patrice in the 2012 James Bond film Skyfall. Ola played his first screen role in Lukas Moodysson’s film Together. The Film told the bittersweet comedy story about hippie-socialist values set in a Stockholm homeshare commune. The film won several awards at international film festivals, including the Paris Film Festival Special Jury Prize, and Philadelphia Film Festival Jury Award. Lev’s parents got married in 2001. Noomi and Ola first met in a parking lot in the middle of the night. “He was very drunk. And me too.”- Noomi said. Before she married in 2001 she was Noomi Noren and he was Ola Norell.

Together they chose the surname Rapace after they were married, which means “bird of prey” in French and Italian because it sounded “cool”. Lev’s father, Ola has a daughter, Line Rapace, born in 1999, together with the actress Malin Morgan. In 2001, the couple called their marriage a quit.

The What Happened to Monday actress recently seriously injured herself in connection with a film she was working on, she broke her nose. The incident was largely caused by the fact that Noomi Rapace prefers to give more than 100 % in her work. Noomi Rapace revealed in an interview that her son Lev Rapace, before her latest role in the 2021 film Lamb where she portrayed the character Maria, asked his mother to take it easy so that she shouldn’t hurt herself again.

Noomi said- “He’s like “okay okay, but do you have to do some stunt work in the movie?” That is his only question, if there is a risk that I will injure myself during the job. And I broke my nose in January during a film job, which was quite dramatic…. he is a man and no longer a child. If he has any objections, he usually says “maybe you shouldn’t do that”. It’s almost like he no longer asks questions, but rather recommends me to take or not take certain jobs.“

Noomi Rapace went on to reveal her son, Lev Rapace, is now acting more like her mentor- “So it’s a bit like he’s now stepping over and becoming more of a mentor, or like a parent to me, haha, she says and explains that when Lev was younger, it happened that he was with his mother at work. And then he was like “mom, please, can you try to slow down a bit, and drive 80 percent instead”, whereupon I said I would try and he just sighs, haha! He knows me best of all.”- Elle reported.
