Khalid Jordan is the son of Donna Jordan and Michael A. Jordan. His mother worked at Newark Arts High School. He is the brother of producer Jamila Jordan and actor, producer, and director Michael B. Jordan. His sister Jamila is the Head of Motion Picture for Genius Entertainment. His brother Michael is a co-owner of English Premier League football club AFC Bournemouth.

Khalid Jordan celebrates his birthday once every year in October. On October 10, 2021, he shared a post on Instagram where he made it known that it was his 29 birthday. This means that Khalid was born in the year 1992. He will be celebrating his 31st birthday in 2023 in October. His family lived in Santa Ana, CA for 2 years before moving to Newark, New Jersey. He grew up in a religious household.

Khalid Jordan finished middle school education at Link Community Charter School. He worked for three and a half years in the Television Literary and Digital Department.

Khalid Jordan was employed as a manager at Mass Appeal before working as a Creative Development Executive at Warner Brothers Television. He became a director of development at Macro Television Studios, a global media brand. According to an article by Variety, Khalid was part of Macro Television Studios’ new executives that were brought in amid greater efforts to broaden its focus to include scripted and alternative programming.
