Ka Ho Cho and Redd Foxx exchanged their in July 1991 at Little Church of the West in Las Vegas in front of their friends, family, and loved ones in a lavish ceremony. The comedian told Jet Magazine– “The main thing for me was that throughout my trials and tribulations, she stuck with me“
He continued- “She stuck with me through the IRS mess and everything, she didn’t run like some women will do. She stuck with me and helped me in a whole lot, she saw me through it all. She saw me when I didn’t have a quarter, she saw me with a nickel and hopefully, she will see me with a dollar. I will give her seventy cents of it”
Ka Ho Cho and Fox met at Bally’s Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. During their wedding, about 150 people were in attendance. Ka Ho Cho was about 30 minutes late and Redd Foxx was going around the church from one lady to the other saying -“If she doesn’t show up I will marry you” The bride was late because of her wedding gown. The wedding was followed by a reception at the Hacienda Hotel.

Before Ka Ho Cho, Redd Foxx has been married three times. His first marriage was to Evelyn Killebrew from 1948 to 1951. On July 5, 1956, Foxx married Betty Jean Harris, a showgirl, and dancer. As per their agreement, Harris gave up her career in show business to become a full-time housewife.
The comedian also adopted Harris’s nine-year-old daughter Debraca Foxx, who assumed the surname “Foxx.” Harris handled most of Foxx’s business ventures such as Redd Foxx Enterprises, which included a chain of record stores in Los Angeles. The couple separated in 1974 due to Foxx’s infidelity.
Foxx filed for divorce on the grounds of incompatibility in May 1974. He also obtained a restraining order that prevented Harris from “removing, hiding or secreting property” from their home in Las Vegas, and she had to return $110,000 that was removed from bank accounts. They were married for 18 years.
Foxx married his third wife Joi Yun Chi Chung who was 20 years his junior in 1976. The couple met when she was a cocktail waitress at the Las Vegas Hilton, shortly after she arrived from Korea.

Three years later Foxx filed for divorce in October 1979, she responded with her divorce suit charging him with cruelty. During their divorce proceedings, Redd Foxx told Jet magazine: “I’ve been married three times and I’m out.” He added: “I’d rather have kids because when I give up all this money on divorce, it should go to the children and not some guy.” Their divorce was finalized in 1981; Foxx paid a $300,000 divorce settlement.
Despite denouncing marriage after his third divorce, Foxx told Jet magazine that he married Ka Ho Cho because she stuck by him through his trials and tribulations with the IRS. Redd Foxx passed away from a heart attack three months after their marriage on October 11, 1991, at the age of 68. He collapsed at Paramount Studios while rehearsing a scene. Four hours after collapsing, he lost his life in Presbyterian Medical Center.

Ka Ho Cho Accused Stepdaughter of Embezzlement
Ka Ho Cho accused her stepdaughter, Debraca Denise Foxx of embezzling her father’s money. She was given the administrative rights to her father’s income and expenses but she couldn’t account for the details. Debraca was removed as the administrator in 2006, and Clark County Public Administrator John J. Cahill was put in charge in 2007. When Redd Foxx died, he left a $3.6 million outstanding tax bill according to the Las Vegas Review Journal.
