She used to be the wife of Fitness expert Jack LaLanne born Francois Henri LaLanne.

Irma Navarre got married to Jack LaLanne in the year 1942. In 1944, they welcomed a daughter Yvonne LaLanne. Their daughter Yvonne is a chiropractor in California. Her ex-husband Jack LaLanne who often said, “I can never die; that would ruin my image!” died at age 96, on January 23, 2011, in Morro Bay, California, U.S. He died of respiratory failure due to pneumonia at his home.

Jack LaLanne’s family revealed that he refused to see a doctor when he was sick. They added that he had been performing his daily workout routine the day before his death. His wife Elaine LaLanne released a statement on her husband’s passing: “I have not only lost my husband and a great American icon, but the best friend and most loving partner anyone could ever hope for.” Jack was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, California.
