The two meet when they were both working in vaudeville, and they started to date. The couple informally separated again in 1954 and divorced in 1970. 10 days later the divorce, her father got married to Beverly McKittrick who he met at a country club in 1968. After 5 years, Jackie divorced Beverly McKittrick and got married to Marilyn Gleason. The two stayed married until his death.
