
The FBI has started arresting fraud boys in Ghana.
A troop of FBI stormed Ghana to begin arresting people involved or linked to scam and gather a few of such workers for prosecution.
According to a WhatsApp screenshot circulating, FBI officers are arresting fraud boys. Some FBI officers from the US have stormed Ghana.
This happens following the arrest of one Ruph Adoe Awuni for his involvement in an alleged $10M scam.
A man who identifies himself as John Jacob, a Ghanaian fraud boy reported his fellow colleague scammer Ruph Adoe Awuni in the US to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) in the United States of America.
John said in a phone call with an FBI agent that they have been involved in an unemployment scam.
John made it known that his friend Ruph Adoe Awuni who lives in the US steals the personal details of American citizens and, he sends those details to him in Ghana after which he’ll file for unemployment funds from the US government’s COVID-19 relief packages.
And once the money comes they share it 50/50.
According to John , they have made close to 10 million Dollars so far.
He added that his friend Ruph Adoe Awuni has become very greedy and has refused to split the money with him.
For that reason he called the FBI to report him to be arrested.
He then gave the house address, phone number, among other details of Awuni.
Ruph Adoe has now been arrested.
However, this information is yet to be proven to be true.
