Frances Patt Price Haise was born on January 21, 1940, in Rogers, Texas, to her parents, Clyde Hubert Price and Mabel Loraine Williams. At the age of nine, she was baptized in the Cego Baptist Church and graduated from Bruceville-Eddy High School. She is the second wife of astronaut Fred Haise. Before she meet Haise, the Apollo 13 astronaut was married to Mary Haise.

While her husband is well-recognized for being a crew member of Apollo 13, F. Patt Price served in several secretarial positions at NASA. Patt worked as a secretary at both NASA Johnson Space Center and NASA Kennedy Space Center. She worked at Johnson Space Center in the Safety, Reliability, and Quality office, and most notably in the Orbiter Project Office, where she managed the design/manufacturing/testing of the Space Shuttle Orbiter vehicle.

She was recognized for her outstanding editorial abilities, cheerful personality, and efficiency in handling projects that were not typically assigned to secretaries. Among her many achievements, she received the Recommendation for Official Recognition as well as the Outstanding Secretary Award.
Aside from her job, Patt loved to travel and had several trips to Europe with her husband. According to sources, she experienced supersonic flight at over twice the speed of sound and at over 60,000 feet altitude aboard the Concord jet.
F. Patt Price and her husband Fred Haise met and got married on January 9, 1979, a year after Haise divorced his ex-wife Mary Haise. Patt and Fred stayed married until her death in 2022. There were married for more than four decades before her sad dismay.

Per her obituary, Fred Haise’s ex-wife passed away peacefully at home with family on February 7, 2022, in Pasadena, Texas. She was 82 years old at the time of her death. Patt is survived by her husband, Fred Haise; daughters, Darla Jones and husband, Greg, and Angie Alexander and husband, Les; grandchildren, Tyler Huber and wife, Jordan, Austin Huber, Madi Jones, Cade Woodall and wife, Amber, and Dakota Woodall; great-grandchildren, Tripp and Lane Woodall; and brother, Bruce Price and wife, Mary.
