Christopher Hunter’s father, Jeffrey Hunter passed away
Jeffrey Hunter is the father of Christopher. He was a film and television actor and producer. He gained much popularity for his roles in films such as The Searchers and King of Kings, Star Trek, and Red Skies of Montana. Chris’ parents were married from 1950 to 1955, before calling it a quit. Two years after their wedding, they welcomed their son, Christopher Hunter.
On the afternoon of May 26, 1969, Christopher’s father suffered an intracranial hemorrhage while he was walking down a three-stair set of steps at his home. Jeffrey Hunter fell, knocked over a planter, and struck his head on the banister, fracturing his skull. He was rushed to the hospital by a friend who came to visit and underwent brain surgery. Unfortunately, Christopher’s father passed away at about 9:30 the following morning. He was 42 years old at the time of death.
