
The football season in Africa is almost here as qualified countries are getting ready to defend their countries at the AFCON 2022. The tournament was originally organized to be played in June and July of this year, 2021, but the CAF disclosed on 15 January 2020 that due to unfavorable climatic conditions during this period, the tournament would take place from 9 January to 6 February 2021. On 30 June 2020, the CAF moved the tournament for the third time to January 2022 following the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic
The tournament is scheduled to be hosted by Cameroon and will take place from 9 January to 6 February 2022. The group draws of the tournament has been finalized and every qualified country know who they will be taking on at the group stage before they can get hold of the cup.
