Adda Quinn is the woman who used to be married to American billionaire business magnate and investor Larry Ellison. Adda is a businesswoman. Adda Quinn was the Business Manager of the Environmental Division of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in Palo Alto. She worked as the Business Manager for about a decade. She became the Project Manager in the Land and Water Quality Program at EPRI. Adda became known because of her marriage to Larry Ellison.

Adda described Larry as “the most charismatic man I had ever met.” They agreed to become husband and wife. In the year 1967, they got married in a beautiful wedding ceremony. Adda became the first wife of Larry.

For three years, they reportedly lived in a one-room apartment before they bought a house in Oakland. They went through frequent financial troubles during the early 1970s. They went to see a marriage counselor after Adda got frustrated because of Larry’s ‘extravagant hobbies and aimlessness.’ Their marriage began to fall apart. In 1974, they got divorced.

Larry Ellison once said of his ex-wife Adda Quinn: “Adda was very bright and exceptionally pretty. Our problems stemmed from the fact that, unlike me, she took life seriously and worked hard at it. She’d get home from her full-time job, make a gourmet dinner, clean up, and then start to wallpaper one of the bedrooms in our house.”

“She wanted me to help her. Perfectly reasonable request, but I didn’t want to wallpaper the bedroom. I wanted to go for a bike ride. I didn’t want a full-time job either, so I did just enough contract programming to pay my part of the monthly bills. Most of my time was spent backpacking in Yosemite and kayaking in the Sierras.”

However, Adda Quinn and Larry Ellison’s marriage was childless. They had no children together. After the divorce, Adda remarried. She married George Sublett, in 1990. She became the stepmother of George’s two sons from his previous marriage. The two “had horses and rode extensively.” They were married until George sadly passed away in 2010.

Per a source, George Sublett fell from a horse and suffered from brain damage, stroke, and slow debilitation which led to his death. According to Adda, she and her late husband George “had a fabulous life right up to the end. We had a few more challenges and learned to do things a bit differently to accommodate the handicaps, but we had great fun!”

Adda Quinn’s ex-husband Larry Ellison married Nancy Wheeler Jenkins from 1977 until they divorced in 1978. He married Barbara Boothe from 1983 to 1986. They are parents of two children, David Ellison and Margaret Elizabeth Ellison. Larry also married Melanie Craft from 2003 to 2010. In all, Larry has been married four times to four different women and divorced four times.
