Who is Jasmine Al-Fayed?

Jasmine Al-Fayed was born in December 1980 in London, United Kingdom per famechain. As of 2023, she is 43 years old. She is the daughter of  Egyptian-born businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed and former model Heini Wathén. She is not the only child of the couple, Jasmine has three other siblings Camilla Al-Fayed, Omar Al-Fayed, and Karim Al-Fayed. She is the oldest daughter of the couple. In November 2022, Jamine’s father was ranked at no. 1,512 in the world with an estimated net worth of US$1.9 billion.

Jasmine’s mother is a former model

Jasmine’s mother, Heini Wathén is a retired model. After winning several beauty pageants in Finland at the age of 17, the beauty queen signed with a modeling agency. She also competed in Miss Finland but did not advance to the finals. Jamine’s late brother, Dodi Fayed introduced Wathén to their father, Mohamed Al-Fayed, who later started dating her and they eventually got married in 1985.

She owns a fashion Brand

Jasmine and her sisters worked for their father when he was the owner of the department store, Harrods. Her sister confessed putting Camilla Wathen on her name tag – their mother’s maiden name – to minimize fuss around being the proprietor’s daughter. Jasmine also decided not to complete her degree at the London College of Fashion and Central St Martins, instead, she opted to serve a one-year apprenticeship in the sewing rooms at Harrods instead of a textbook.

Drawing inspiration from what she learned, Jasmine began to develop a very individual universe of design ideas – which resulted in her first capsule knitwear-based collection, ‘Constellation’ (in 2000), and the following collection, ‘Fallen Angels’ (in 2003).

Jasmine Al-Fayed is the founder of Jasmine di Milo per Arabianbusiness. Per famechine, Jasmine Al-Fayed is married to Noah Johnson. Her husband is a Welsh boxing star, world disco dancing champion, and heavy metal rocker. The couple’s marriage has also been blessed with a child- whose name is Delilah Johnson. Their daughter was born in 2006. She is 17 years old as of 2023. Her mother is the second woman the Billionaire married.  Mohamed Al-Fayed, the Billionaire philanthropist was previously married to Samira Khashoggi– the mother of Dodi Fayed.

Jasmine was 17 when her brother Dodi Fayed died

Jasmine Fayed was 17 years old when her brother Dodi Fayed was killed in a car accident at the Pont de l’Alma underpass in Paris. Diana, Princess of Wales, his girlfriend of only a few months, died from her injuries later that night. Dodi was pronounced dead at the scene on his removal from the wreckage.

Her father who said the couple “were executed by MI6 agents” erected two memorials to Dodi and Diana at Harrods. One of the memorials unveiled titled Innocent Victims, is a 3 metres (9 feet 10 inches) high bronze statue of the two dancing on a beach, beneath the wings of an albatross.
