Psalm Adjeteyfio has cursed a segment of the population for ridiculing him for coming public to ask for money after working as an actor for decades.
The actor, who goes by the stage name TT, recently gained internet popularity when he cried out for financial help to pay his rent and provide for himself and his family, since he had fallen into debt in recent months.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, intervened and gave the actor $30,000 to cover his rent and $20,000 for “pocket money.”
Henry Quartey, the Greater Accra Regional Minister also pledged to provide a monthly stipend of ₵1,500 when the trending issue was brought to his attention. Furthermore, socialite Ayisha Modi also came through by pledging to pay for his rent for life plus other monetary assistance.
However, some netizens believe he deserves no sympathy for being poor at 73 having worked several years as an actor and obviously failing to structure his life well.
The aging actor upon getting wind of the criticisms launched a tirade and curses against his ‘oppressors’ by saying diseases took a big chunk of his fortune and since he did not invite those diseases into his life, those mocking him will suffer the same fate.
