Over the past few months, Ghana has been plagued with incidents of ritual murders and other serious crimes.
A shocking video-making wave online shows a Ghanaian woman named Akosua had consumed two-thirds of the local delicacy Tuo Zafi from a food joint before she found meat that looks like a human penis.
In Her Words Reads; I had gone to get some food from the food joint because I was hungry and my preferred choice was Tuo Zafi which I bought and took home to eat.
I had eaten all the other meat in the soup and was about to finish off with the biggest piece when I noticed the male genital organ.
Recently, it looks as if the means by which people are dying lately is as a result of a certain food they consume from outside.
Way back then, before one can stand up and say they want to sell food, they must pass certain health requirements before they can sell food for public consumption.
Off late, you can just get a person who would rise up just one morning and begin to sell food in their own corner without necessarily going through any strict procedures.
It seems the only thing to reduce the occurrence of these incidents is to make sure that, before anyone sets up a stand anywhere to sell anything that will be for human consumption, adequate information must be obtained about them and frequent unannounced inspection should be conducted to ensure the safety of the consumers and the entire populace.
