
Currently in a press statement that is making waves issued by the Ministry of Information in Accra, indicates that the government of Ghana will receive the first batch of COVID-19 vaccine at the kotoka International Airport in Accra.
The Government will organise a ceremony to welcome covid-19 vaccines today, Wednesday, 24,February.
It is noted in the statement issued by the Ministry of Information that,the Minister for Health Designate, Mr Kwaku Agyeman Manu, would lead the government delegation to receive the vaccines today.
According to the statement, the brief ceremony will be aired on Ghana Television (GTV) and the official facebook page of the Ministry of Information.
Ghana is about receiving the first batch of 600,000 AstraZeneca Coronavirus vaccine.
However, Media houses interested in taking coverage are to pick the live feed from the two platforms, ie:Ghana Television (GTV) and the Ministry of Information’s Facebook page.
