Who is Otis Williams’ wife?
Otis Williams is an American baritone singer, occasional songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as the founder and last surviving original member of the Motown vocal group The Temptations, a group in which he continues to perform; he also owns the rights to the Temptations name. Otis has been married three times to three different women.

Otis Williams got married to his first wife Josephine Rogers. There are no records of how the two met but they shared a romantic relationship and got married in 1961. They welcomed a son in the same year and named him Otis Lamont Miles. Otis and his first wife Josephine were married for three years.
In 1964, the couple decided to end their marriage. Unfortunately, Otis and Josephine lost their son Otis Lamont Miles who was a construction worker. He died from falling off a building in a workplace accident in Detroit in 1983.
Otis Williams then met singer, actress, and businesswoman Patti LaBelle. According to OWN, Patti revealed that she went to see The Temptations perform in downtown Philadelphia, and after the show, she met Otis Williams. She said,
“I ended up seeing Otis, and we ended up becoming engaged”. “I think I was more in love with The Temptations than Otis Williams, who was a very sweet man. They were big at that time, you know, and sometimes you get a little celebrity crazy, and I think I was in that category.”

Otis Williams and Patti LaBelle began a relationship and got engaged around 1964, soon after Otis and his first wife Josephine Rogers got divorced. Otis later suggested that Patti move to Detroit and give up her singing career. Otis and Patti’s engagement lasted a year and Patti broke it off because Otis asked her to quit music and become a housewife.
Patti mentioned that she knew their relationship would never work. “I said very nicely, ‘The engagement is off. I have to sing for the rest of my life. If they weren’t paying me, I have to sing. That’s how it is with me,'” she says. “I still really care for him very much. … But I’m glad I didn’t marry you, boo boo.”

After Otis Williams and Patti LaBelle’s relationship ended, Otis got married to Ann Cain. They got married in 1967, in a beautiful ceremony. They were married for about six years. They got divorced in 1973.

Otis Williams got married for the third time. His third wife is Arleata “Goldie” Williams (née Carter). They got married in 1983 but divorced in 1997. They were married for over a decade. Their daughter Elan Carter was born on July 3, 1969. She became 1994’s Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in June 1994.
Otis Williams is currently unmarried. He is believed to be single as of 2022. He has not revealed who he is dating but we are keeping tabs on his relationship and will update this section with more information.
