Nigerian musician, songwriter, and record producer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun known in showbiz as Wizkid revealed in an interview he granted British Model, Naomi Campbell that, he wasn’t born into a rich family.
Wizkid, who is currently one of the most successful and richest musicians in Africa, said that he became successful through music. And as a result, he’s been able to change the status of his family.
Some may assume the talented Nigerian born musician, was into cash loaded family. But he revealed, that wasn’t the situation for him, and that, if he hadn’t chosen a career in music, he probably may have ended up on the streets of Nigeria.
During the interview, Naomi revealed that Wizkid is a ‘cheerful giver’, who likes to walk around with lots of cash, with the purpose of giving it out to people. He gives up the last penny out to people on the street.

“I am not from a rich home, and my parents were not wealthy, I Changed the life of my family. God used me as a blessing so I can be a blessing to my family and to those around me.
“I believe if I weren’t making music, I would have been on the streets hustling like every other kid, music, saved my life” Wizkid explained to the host .

No wonder people love him and are always willing to support his music. He once give a fun one million Naira which equivalent to 15473.68 Ghana Cedis.
