Lisa Jean Hackett is the daughter of Buddy Hackett and his wife Sherry Cohen. Her father Buddy Hackett is an American actor, comedian, and singer while her mother Sherry Cohen is a Canadian actress and assistant director. Her parents gave birth to three children, so clearly she is not the only child born to her parents.
Lisa Jean Hackett’s siblings are Ivy Julie Hackett and Sandy Hackett. Her brother Sandy Hackett followed in his father’s footsteps and he became an actor, comedian, and producer. His movie career began in 1950 with a 10-minute “World of Sports” reel for Columbia Pictures called King of the Pins. He appeared alongside Robert Preston in the film adaptation of The Music Man (1962).
Buddy Hackett and Mickey Rooney were joined in It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), and they also appeared in Everything’s Ducky (1961). He also appeared in Disney’s The Love Bug (1968). He appeared many times on the game show Hollywood Squares in the late 1960s and 1970s.
