What Happened To Jordan Womack’s Father?
Jordan Womack’s father Bobby Womack died at his home in Tarzana, California, on June 27, 2014, at the age of 70. The cause of his death is unknown but before his death, he had health issues such as diabetes, pneumonia, colon cancer, and Alzheimer’s disease. He made it known that he had early signs of Alzheimer’s disease. He told CNN:
“With the support of many good doctors, my family, and all of my wonderful fans, I will continue to write and perform and bring the good music to the people for as long as I can.” He went on to thank his fans for their prayers and well wishes, adding, “I truly appreciate and can feel your love.” Bobby also struggled with drug addiction.

“I think the biggest move for me was to get away from the drug scene,” Bobby revealed. “It wasn’t easy. It was hard, because everybody I knew did drugs. … They didn’t know when to turn it off.” He was cremated, and his ashes were inurned at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, California, in The Great Mausoleum, Memorial Terrace, Memorial Terrace Columbarium.
