I Tricked The Kumasi Uber Driver, Kɨlled Him & cut Off His Head – Suspect tells how he did it to the Police

The Kumasi police have arrested the prime suspect in the murder of the Kumasi Uber driver.

The Uber driver was found dead with some part of his body missing which made people believe he was killed for ritual purposes.

Rashid Ibrahim narrated how he killed the driver to the police following his arrest.

According to the suspect, he met the driver at High school junction at Atonsu around 1 pm in the afternoon, and when he stopped his car, he picked it as ‘dropping’ to Feyiase without requesting a ride via the Uber app.

When they got to Feyiase, the suspect said he is going to pick some speakers in his house back to the high school junction.

He asked the driver to accompany him to the house to help him carry the speakers because they’re heavy.

Whiles walking together he told the driver to turn so they could use another path and that’s when he stabbed the driver.

The driver struggled with him but with his knife, he overpowered him and stabbed him multiple times, and took off this head.

After taking off his head, he washed himself with stagnant water in a reservoir close to the scene and hid the head so he would come for it at the right time because he overheard a noise from people walking towards the scene.

He then runs to a house nearby and requested a shirt.

Fortunately, a police investigation led to his arrest.
