How a flight departing from Accra-Kumasi landed in Cote d’Ivoire.

Passion Air flight departing from Accra to Kumasi has unfortunately landed at an airport in Ivory Coast.

According to reports, it landed at an airport in Ivory Coast due to bad weather conditions.

In a Press Released by an airline company named ‘Passion Air’, their flight OP152 departed from the capital city of Ghana, Accra at exactly 17:45 for Kumasi.

Due to the bad nature of the weather, the flight diverted to Felix Houphouet Boigny International Airport in Cote d’Ivoire where the weather permitted their safe landing.

Refreshments was provided to the passengers and after, the flight departed from Abidjan, the county’s major urban center, back to Accra at 11:20pm.

On arrival at Accra, hotel arrangements were made for passengers who required it while others chose to spend the night at their various houses in Accra.
