Hyundai a top automobile company, has currently launched its first electric assembled vehicle in Ghana.
Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh popularly known as ‘NAPO’,the minister for Energy shared a post disclosing that Hyundai Ghana has presented its first electric car assembled in Ghana to the Ministry.
According to the post, the initiative of manufacturing electric vehicles in Ghana is consistent with the government’s declared commitment in October 2019 of which the government pledged its support for the usage of renewable energy in the automotive industry and to chart or speed up the course for electric vehicles use in the near future in the country.
