Who is A.B. Quintanilla III’s son?

Born in 2000, Giani Quintanilla is the son of A.B. Quintanilla III and Evangelina Almeida. As of 2024, Giani is 24 years old. Giani is not the only child of his parents- he has eight other siblings, one of them being named Svani Quintanilla. Giani’s elder brother Svani was born in 1991.

According to People, Giani Quintanilla’s father has eight children: Six sons and two daughters. A.B. is also a confirmed grandfather. His son, Svani, has a daughter.

On his Instagram, Giani’s elder brother Svani posts TBT photos from the Quintanilla family history, including his childhood snap with Selena y Los Dinos’s opening band and a picture with his mom. When Giani was at the age of 8 he posed with his father and elder brother Svani for April 2008’s issue of People en Espanol.

Giani Quintanilla’s father is in his fifth marriage. Selena’s older brother, A.B. (played by Gabriel Chavarria) meets his first wife, Giani’s mother, Evangelina “Vangie” Almeida (Gladys Bautista). The couple’s romance and journey to parenthood, especially as it clashes with A.B.’s life as a traveling musician. A.B. and Vangie called their married a quit that same year.

Giani Quintanilla’s aunty, Selena was shot and killed in 1995 and, while some reports say that A.B.’s marriage suffered afterward, he and Vangie didn’t divorce until 2000, per Distractify. A.B. married Heather Grein three years later.

According to Vangie’s Instagram, she’s had another child, daughter Alana, who is now in second grade. While Vangie doesn’t ‘gram much, her account heavily features pics of Alana and her other children.

Giani Quintanilla’s father married his longtime girlfriend Rikkie Leigh Robertson on November 12, 2011. On July 5, 2016, he announced after a concert that he was getting divorced from his wife. They have no children together.

In 2017, Quintanilla was briefly put on the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted List for non-payment of child support of $87,000 and was arrested. He also declared bankruptcy after Cruz Martinez won a case against Quintanilla on the accusations that Quintanilla had underpaid him and the Kumbia Kings for live shows and concerts.

Quintanilla married Anjelah O., an Argentinian woman, on September 16, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

A.B.’s numerous children are a lot to keep up with, even for him. In 2017, he landed himself on a list of the top 10 most wanted fugitives in Corpus Christi over unpaid child support payments. He spent a short time in Nueces County Jail before agreeing to pay the money he owed, which came out to around $87,000 in back payments, along with additional medical and attorney’s fees.

Hopefully, Giani Quintanilla’s father is keeping up with the support payments these days while enjoying life with his current wife Anjelah O.

On Instagram, A.B. posted a photo of two of his children on the set of Selena, the 1997 movie starring Jennifer Lopez as the singer.

While living in Lake Jackson, Texas, Giani Quintanilla’s father, A. B. learned to play the guitar and bass. Alongside Selena, his sister Suzette, and their father, Abraham, he became a member of the successful band Los Dinos. A. B. also became Selena’s producer. Giani’s father co-wrote Selena’s hit songs like “Como la Flor” (“Like the Flower”) and “Amor Prohibido” (“Forbidden Love”).
