Eric is a drummer for his brother Bruno Mars’ backup band, The Hooligans. Bruno Mars is accompanied by his band, the Hooligans, who play a variety of instruments, such as electric guitar, bass, piano, keyboards, drums, and horns, and also serve as backup singers and dancers. Bruno Mars has sold more than 130 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Eric Hernandez is a skillful drummer. He has mastered styles and can play drums for a wide range of music genres. He is able to play what the music demands of him. Eric started drumming at age 4 but he played drums professionally at age 10 in Hawaii. He played 6 nights a week for 8 years with “The Lovenote Show” a Variety show paying tribute to the music of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s.

Eric toured with Bruno Mars for his Doop-Dop-Zoopity-Zop and Hooligans tour, playing the drums. Bruno Mars once said: “I wouldn’t consider myself a drummer; my brother has always been a better one than me. We’ve been playing music since we were kids, and when I would venture off into other things, he’d keep on practicing his instrument. He’ll always have that over me—but in all honesty, I wouldn’t want anyone else playing for me.”
Eric Hernandez is also playing with Taio Cruz and has had the pleasure of sharing the stage and playing drums with Cee-Lo Green (Gnarls Barkley), Monica, Keri Hilson, K’Naan, Janelle Monae, B.o.B, Carmit Bachar (Pussy Cat Dolls), Tre Hardson (the Pharcyde), Kim Hill ( Black Eyed Peas), Travie McCoy (Gym Class Heroes), Jeff Baskar (Kanye West) and the Far East Movement.

Eric’s Mother Has Passed Away
Eric Hernandez’s mother Bernadette San Pedro Bayot died from a brain aneurysm. She was credited with encouraging her children’s love of music. According to her Findagrave profile, Bernadette died on 1 January 2013, at age 55, in Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA, and was buried at Manila Memorial Park, in Manila, Capital District, National Capital Region, Philippines. However, some sources have also cited that, Bernadette died on June 1, 2013.

Eric Is A Family Man
Eric Hernandez has mentioned on his Instagram profile that he is a family man. He is the husband of Cindia Hernandez and the father of three children.
