Her mother was Edith Kristine Bostrom and her father was Frank Gustav Bostrom. She had three brothers, Carl Bostrom, Eric Bostrom, and Robert Bostrom. In 1974, she graduated from Palos Verdes High School.

Elizabeth finished her education with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked as a dental assistant for the developmentally disabled. She was a skilled and passionate Dental Hygienist. She dedicated efforts to offering members of the community with special needs, or disabilities, access to quality dental care.

However, I find comfort in the wonderful memories I have of this exceptional woman, and I look forward to the challenge ahead of trying to live up to the bar she set. Elisabeth Bostrom, you were one of a kind, and loved more than you could ever know. I miss you more each day.”

On October 8, 2020, Miles shared a post of his mother Elizabeth as he celebrated her on her birthday. He wrote: “Today we celebrate the Birthday of my wonderful Mom! She may be gone, but her appreciation of the simple things in life, her incredibly compassionate heart, and the unwavering love she had for her family still surround us, and encourage us to live life to the fullest.”
