Their father passed away at a very young age

The Saldana sister lost their father Aridio Saldaña in 1987 to a car accident. Their father didn’t live long enough to see his children take on the world. Zoe was only 9 and her younger sister Cisely was 8 when sad dismay took place. Their Grandmother was the one who broke the news to the girls. Because of the passing of their father Cisely Saldana and her sister were sent to the Dominican Republic to live with their father’s relative. Cisely Saldana and her sister are very close and they have proven that various times. On Cisely’s birthday, her famous sister Zoe took to her Instagram to share a photo and celebrate her little sister- She wrote-“To our petite lady, our youngest sister, our first little baby…. you are and have been by far our prettiest ray of sunshine. @cissaldana we hope you have a beautiful day at the spa- you deserve it Chiquita! “
