Antonio Banderas showed his appreciation to everyone and was thankful for the outpouring of love and support they gave him. ‘Thank you very much to everyone for all the support and affection. I cherish the hugs and send you one from the entire family.’
Also, on Instagram, Antonio Banderas shared the sad news of his mother’s death with his fans and followers. He wrote in Spanish: ‘At six o’clock this morning, 11-4-2017, our mother Ana Bandera Gallego has left us forever.
She takes not only the affection of her family, but also that of her friends who loved her well and will always remember her.
May God have her in the place she deserves from her.’
According to sources, Ana Banderas’ funeral was held in Malaga, Spain at the Church of San Juan. Antonio couldn’t hold back his tears as he recalled the values that his parents instilled in him.

Antonio Banderas spoke about his mother during a 2010 appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He said: “My mother was the youngest of 16 brothers and sisters.” He joked, “That’s how boring life was in Spain 60 years ago. They didn’t have anything to do but that.”
