Chairman Wontumi has Clarified the loyalty of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, saying that he would never betray the party for the gain of the NDC.
Speaking on his TV station show, the Wontumi Morning Show, the NPP Ashanti regional Chairman took down allegations that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong voted for the NDC’s candidate, Hon. Alban Bagbin, instead of Prof. Mike Oquaye to become the current Speaker of Parliament.
Chairman Wontumi made it clear that, despite the voting in electing the new Speaker of Parliament not going in favor of the NPP wanted, people shouldn’t target Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and falsely accuse him of stabbing the party in the back.
We didn’t want things to go the way it went but it has happened and we shouldn’t fall for the propaganda by the NDC
he said.
He went on to accused Kelvin Taylor of starting the negative propaganda against Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and warned NPP members not to listen to those false accusations by the NDC.
