Denver Dell Pyle (May 11, 1920 – December 25, 1997) and Marilee Carpenter (29 August 1924 – 2 January 2010) were his parents. His father was an actor and director while his mother was a production assistant at 20th Century Fox and a homemaker.

He served as a director of the television series “Death Valley Days”, “The Doris Day Show”, and “The Dukes of Hazzard”.
Tony Pyle Has Lost Both Parents
Tony Pyle’s parents Denver Pyle and his ex-wife Marilee Carpenter are no longer alive. His famous father Denver was killed by lung cancer on Christmas Day, December 25, 1997, in Burbank, California, U.S. He was 77 years old at the time he passed away. A memorial service was held on January 6, 1998, at First Baptist Church in Waxahachie, Texas.

Tony Pyle’s father Denver Pyle is buried in an unmarked grave at the Forreston Cemetery, in Forreston, Ellis County, Texas, USA. Tony’s mother Marilee Carpenter also died on 2 January 2010, when she was 85 years of age. She died in Balboa Island, Orange County, California, USA, and was buried at Pacific View Memorial Park, in Corona del Mar, Orange County, California, USA.
