Some content creators believe that pranks are an easy path to fame and money. 20-year-old Timothy Wilks, a YouTuber got himself killed after taking part in a robbery prank in Nashville, Tennessee. He was shot in the parking lot of Nashville’s Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park. This event took place on 5th February 2021.

What Happened To Timothy Wilks? Full Story
A Youtuber named Timothy Wilks met his untimely death in a prank-gone-wrong incident. Timothy and his friend attempted to film the reactions of people at knifepoint. They armed themselves with butcher knives to film prank robbery videos in order to record people’s reactions to being held at knifepoint.

Per reports, Wilks brandished a knife while his friend was filming. They decided to do their prank at the Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park parking lot. Wilks and his friend then approached a group who happened to be in the car park. David Starnes Jr who was part of the members of the group felt threatened.
David Starnes Jr. retaliated by fatally shooting Wilks in self-defense. After this happened, Wilks’ friend escaped unharmed. David Starnes Jr decided to remain at the scene until emergency services arrived. He turned himself in to the police explaining that he acted in self-defense.
David Starnes Jr. said he was unaware the attempted robbery was a prank. The authorities are investigating the incident. Police have not yet filed any charges against either David Starnes Jr. or Timothy Wilks’ boyfriend.
As for his role in the incident, Timothy Wilks’ friend could end up facing some time. A lawyer speaking to a Fox17 correspondent says, “I’m sure the people involved would like to characterize this as a prank, but it certainly seems to be a prank that went seriously awry.”
