“Songs that I recorded years ago sound better than some songs produced today” – Appietus

Ghanaian producer, Appiah Dankwah who is known as Appietus has revealed songs he produced years ago sound better than songs produced today.

During an interview with Andy Dosty Appietus made this known.
Appietus made it known that Nigerians are doing better than Ghanaians in music during this recent times.

According to Appietus, artistes do not come to him anymore because production is expensive

Appietus said,

“Songs that I recorded years ago sound better than some songs produced today. I am wondering what is happening.

Artistes are not coming to me because production is expensive. Any sound that is not originating from Ghana, I do not have any interest in it. When you play Reggae, it would definitely be credited to Jamaica.

Sometimes, certain songs that are not properly produced would somehow become a hit because the artiste has the money to push it.

When I listen to the Nigerian standard of production, and that of Ghanaians, I see the difference. Nigerians’ are actually better than that of Ghanaians.”
