News trending on the Internet reveals that dancehall singer Shatta wale has been shot by unknown gunmen.

This sad news takes place just after Shatta wale celebrated his birthday.

Ghanaian artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known by many as Shatta Wale has reportedly been shot by gunmen.

On Snapchat,Shatta’s PR, Nana Dope put the news across informing the public.

According to Nana Doe, Shatta was ambushed by some gunmen in East Legon.He said that Shatta Wale was attacked just when it was raining.

He added that Shatta was able to evade the gunmen but he has sustained severe injuries and is now at a hospital.

He disclosed that the dancehall singer is receiving urgent medical attention and battling for his life.

Taking to snapchat, Wale’s Personal assistant wrote;

“SMH!! They could do this in this rain? SMFH

“If not the fact that he was driving prepared, it would have been too bloody!! F*ck this!! My niqqa too strong to give up!! You strong my g, I dont even know what to even say!! The typing make difficult.

“Thanks to all those calling to check up, the king is still at the emergency ward receiving treatment.

“The gunmen are still on the run. Thanks to Ghana Police,”
