Sarkodie Finally Breaks Silence On The Fake Award From Dr UN

Well known rapper Michael Owusu Addo known in the music fraternity as Sarkodie has finally spoken on the Dr UN Awards.

Sarkodie had received a fake award from Kwame Fordjour popularly known as Dr UN during somewhere in September last year.

Dr UN presented awards to some top politicians, media personalities, top educationists and other celebrities including Sarkodie.

The Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie toured Kumasi as part of preparations for the release of his “NO PRESSURE” album.

Speaking in an interview, during his radio tour in Kumasi on Pure FM, the rapper mentioned that he will still keep the award given to him by Dr UN.

Sarkodie said that anyone could have found himself in that situation he found himself.

According to Sarkodie, his manager alerted him about an email from Dr. UN about the awards.

The rapper disclosed that he saw some red flags when he arrived at the event but the calibre of people present there made him believe the awards was real .

Sarkodie believes that Dr. UN wanted to honour people for their work and for that reason he will keep the award.

Sarkodie added that it is worth it.
