The parents and Teachers at Offinso Kokote M/A Junior High School in the Offinso Municipality of the Ashanti Region are appealing to the government led by Nana Akufo Addo, Education Ministry led by Hon Yaw Osei Adutwum, their member of parliament,Hon Dr Owusu Achew Dua, their municipal chief executive,Hon Solomon Kesse and other Stakeholders to come to their aid immediately with the help of renovation of their deplorable state of the school structure .
Addressing the press by the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) chairman of the school,Owoahene Achampong, he said, since more than 70year there is no renovation in the school which lead poor ruffling sheets structure, dead trap school building,no toilet facility in the school and many other problem which is confronting the school.
Again, the senior House Master of the school, Mr James Owusu also made a request to the municipal Assembly and Education Directorate to provide the school, lCT Center, staff common room, toilet facility for the the school to prevent the students to go out from the school the time they are learning.
He said, when it’s about to rain, they should be quickly close the students due to the dead trap of the school building and this appeals was made by the school to their authorities and Education Directorate but no action was taken buy them.
They therefore appealing to the authorities to quickly come to their aid to ensure a safety environment for teaching and learning.
