
Reports have it that,the Chief Inspector, Timothy Nartey’s vehicle has burnt down into ashes together with all of its contents.
The items in the car got burnt into ashes. Some items such as his personal documents, handcuff, money and other valuables which were in the vehicle at the moment.
According to reports,the station officer of Kyekyewere Police Station in the Eastern Region, Chief Inspector, Timothy Nartey was not alone in his vehicle.
He was in the company of two mechanics when the car caught fire.
It is noted that the Chief Inspector, Timothy Nartey was traveling to Kumasi in his vehicle.
He was in a private Toyota RAV 4 with the car’s Registration number, GR 774 W.
According to police reports, he said upon reaching a section of the road at Tetrem Abijan Nkwanta on the Kumasi highway the vehicle caught fire and got burnt.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
However,there is an investigation going on to find the cause of the fire .
