It seems the whole of this week and a little bit of last week has been a very hot and engaging one for one prominent lawmaker.
From controversial outbursts to seeking peace, from a proposal to be invited to face the Privileges Committee of parliament, to leading a committee set to bring peace in a tense environment, he has been through it all. That is space, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong finds himself now.
The member of parliament for Assin Central in the Central region has rendered an apology on behalf of the people of Ghana and military to the Chiefs and people of Wa following the meting out of violence on some civilians by some military personnel in the town.
The soldiers, who are said to have passed out of training not too long ago have since been sanctioned by the military.
A committee of inquiry which was headed by the embattled parliamentarian who faces the possibility of being invited by the privileges committee of parliament over certain outbursts of his visited Wa and met with the traditional leaders to render an apology over the unprofessional attitude of the soldiers.
